Shanti Griha Nepal, in collaboration with Rapti Rural Municipality, organized a free health camp in Mahatinikhola on 18th January 2025, providing essential medical services to 180 underprivileged individuals, including children, pregnant women, and the elderly. The camp offered general consultations, reproductive health checkups, and vision screenings, addressing common ailments like colds, gynecological conditions, and cataracts. Medicines were distributed, and cases needing advanced care were referred to specialized centers.
The initiative, supported by medical professionals such as general physicians, gynecologists, and vision specialists, emphasized prenatal care, children’s health, and eye exams. Local youth volunteers and women group ensured smooth operations by managing logistics and assisting medical staff.
