Shree Dibya Jyoti Rastriya Primary School, located in Rampur Jharna, Rapti Municipality-7, was established in 1998 by a Mother Group to serve children from marginalized and deprived ethnic groups, including Chepang and Dalits. Since 2004, Shanti Griha Nepal has been supporting the school with efforts aimed at enhancing child-friendly infrastructure and improving both the educational environment and community development.

The current project, “Renovation of Shree Dibya Jyoti Rastriya Primary School and Capacity Building,” launched in April 2024, focuses on creating a sustainable, child-friendly educational environment and improving community living standards. This initiative will upgrade key infrastructure elements, including the school compound fence, child-friendly toilets, and a drinking water system. Additionally, capacity-building activities will enhance the educational environment and contribute to overall community development.
